As part of the "What's New in the Fall of the Roman Empire" lecture series in the Initiative for the Science of the Human Past, **Professor Michael McCormick** will speak on **“The Fall of the Roman Empire: How should we study it in the 21st century?”.**

Chairing the talk will be David Reich, Harvard Medical School Department of Genetics, and three respondents will offer comments following the lecture: Dimiter Angelov, Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine History; Kathleen Coleman, James Loeb Professor of the Classics; and Joseph B. Lassiter, Senior Fellow, Senator John Heinz Professor of Management Practice in Environmental Management, Harvard Business School, *Emeritus.*
