Last December, the SCA held a roundtable on *Breaking Iconoclasm: Destroying and Rebuilding Past and Present Heritage,* exploring interdisciplinary approaches to iconoclasm. Two of the participants, Bastien Varoutsikos and Jason Felch, have since written a couple of pieces on the themes of the roundtable and their specific engagement with the recent events in Syria and Iraq. Their recent article on ['Iconoclasm in the era of Clickbait](http://theartnewspaper.com/comment/comment/lessons-from-palmyra-where-islamic-state-combined-iconoclasm-and-clickbait/)' was just published in *The Art Newspaper* (April 7) and Jason also provides a [shorter version](http://chasingaphrodite.com/2016/04/07/the-lessons-of-palmyra-iconoclasm-in-the-era-of-clickbait/) on his blog on looting antiquities, *Chasing Aphrodite*. Video of the entire symposium is also available [here](/videos).
