As part of the "What's New in the Fall of the Roman Empire" lecture series in the Initiative for the Science of the Human Past, Professor Michael McCormick will speak on “The Fall of the Roman Empire: How should we study it in the 21st century?”.
Chairing the talk will be David Reich, Harvard Medical School Department of Genetics, and three respondents will offer comments following the lecture: Dimiter Angelov, Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine History; Kathleen Coleman, James Loeb Professor of the Classics; and Joseph B. Lassiter, Senior Fellow, Senator John Heinz Professor of Management Practice in Environmental Management, Harvard Business School, Emeritus.
